Founders’ review

Ednam Solutions is a Med-tech startup, making smart garments for menstrual pain relief.

The startup aims to provide women the most comfortable, effective and smart solutions to their monthly pain.

The pants have a heat patch, which is heated by connecting a power source via USB port in pant. Temperature is controlled via the app.

Ednam was ready with the first iteration of their MVP: the pant and the app.

The MVP had to be validated and further feedbacks and insights were sought for further improvement of the products.

Ednam was also looking for its branding to get done.

UX Writing snippets

A few examples of how I contributed as a UX Writer in the branding project of Ednam.

Designed surveys and usability tests for the first iteration of the Minimum Viable Product (MVP).

Led a team of three interns in improving Ednam's BLE app, resulting in a remarkable 60% increase in task completion rates.

Developed a usability test plan that adhered to the rigorous IEC 62366 standards.

Conducted usability tests with seven real users, extracting valuable insights that informed the next product iteration.

Achieved a noteworthy 16% increase in Net Promoter Score (NPS) through user-driven improvements.

Worked on the branding and website redesign of Ednam’s website in collaboration with the founders, design agency and developer.

The USP of the pants. This is the tag line on the hero section Ednam’s website, while the description is to hook the user to find out how the pants work.

The pants are fashionable, look smart on the woman, and are also technologically smart, hence insuring the user that this product is worth trying.

Ednam promises to provide the most convenient and comfortable solution to women’s monthly inconvenience hence COMFORT gets the most attention on the website.

‘Take control of your comfort literally’ is used to convey the amount of authority and control Ednam’s Luna Pants give to woman, where she can control the temperature by an app and also use it whenever she wants to, as these pants can be worn without the power bank also.

A pun on ‘that time of the month’, used to convey the versatility of the pants.

Understood the process of branding.

Built confidence in Figma which I learnt while working with Ednam.

Had first hand experience of users’ satisfaction in case of bad UX and good UX.

Her determination and work ethic allowed her to meet deadlines and maintain high quality work.”

—Aayushi Kumar (Co-founder, Ednam Solutions)

Her UX research efforts led to valuable insights that improved our products’ design and functionality.”
